Reporting into the Finance Director the role aims to deliver a first-class service to all our clients customers, whether they are internal or external, in a professional and timely manner.
Duties and Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and interrogate financial proposals
Update of the finance IT system and be a champion for continuing improvements
Review the internal processes and implement efficient systems
Review the internal financial controls within the business.
Work closely with the operations team to identify areas where efficiencies can be gained and agree an action plan of improvements to be implemented.
Work with all members of the finance team to create a “user manual” for the functions with finance department, ensuring business continuity in cases of emergency.
To aid in the annual budget process as and when needed.
Provide a basic level of cover as and when required for the Credit Controller and Purchase Ledger Assistant roles.
To provide assistance as required to the Finance Director and Financial Controller.
To help prepare and be a key contact for the annual audit.
Continually look for improvements to processes to gain efficiencies
Provide training to staff who need help understanding financial elements of their role/the business
Any other duties as allocated by the Director group.
